Car Alarms: Reprogramming Alpine Car Alarm in 97 Honda Civic, alpine car, installation forum

I replaced my battery in my Civic the other day and now the light on the dash is flashing and when I press the button on the remote, the alarm beeps twice but does not lock or set the alarm. I am assuming I need to reprogram the remote. Correct?
