Car Alarms: Car alarm & Remote starter problem, starter wire, civic dx

Question
I bought a 94 Civic DX that had an aftermarket remote starter and alarm on it.  Neither seemed to work and the wiring was a mess.  So, I disconnected both units completely and removed the wiring without knowing what I was doing.  Now, the car won't start at all.  Radio works, but when I turn the key I get nothing.  I am pretty sure I disconnected some relay to the starter, but I know nothing about the wiring.  What can I do without taking the car to a shop as saying, "It won't start" like an idiot about to replace everything on the car?

Answer
ok, on the starter wire (black/white in the ignition harnes)
was a relay for starter kill. Might still be on it. if it is there, cut it out and reconnect the 2 starter wire ends together. If the starter wire is intact, then there are other troubles other then starter kill to worry about.

Check it out and repair.

Good luck.
