Car Alarms: Viper remote start, viper remote start, feature options

I have had a Viper remote start and keyless entry. Every now and then the lock will not lock the truck and the only way you can start the truck is with the remote start. I have noticed that when this happens there is a blue light that blinks below the dash. How do I get this to stop?

You say the lock will not lock, do you mean the lock switch on the door or the remote?  What make/model/year vehicle do you have?  Some Ford vehicles go to 'sleep' after a certain amount of time and will stop the door locks from functioning.  When the 'blue light below the dash' blinks, this indicates that the viper is in 'locked' mode and is disabling the starter.  This is a feature that you can turn off on most systems that offer this option.  If you take a look under your dash and get the exact make and model of your starter I may be able to find a manual for it which would explain all of your available feature options and also explain how to turn them on and off.
