QUESTION: Mr.Frolich, My headlight wipers are not activating at all. However I can hear the motor turn on and seem to want to work. Any suggestions? Thank you very much. Craig

ANSWER: Those motors go bad all the time. They run but the wipers don't sweep,disconnect the electrical connection from the motor and you won't lose the "look" of the headlamp wipers. If you want them to work...the motors are expensive,but would require replacement.

QUESTION: Thank you again,Mr.Frolich,for your help.One more question please.My power driver seat does not recline at all. I can hear and feel the motor operating but there is no action in the mechanism.All the other power seat operations work fine. Do you have a suggestion for a problem/solution?Thanks again, Craig

Very common problem. The cable housing for the recline motor needs to be shortened about 3/4 of an inch.The seat upholstery needs to be peeled back far enough to gain access to the motor.Remove the cable from the motor,heat up the end of the cable housing and remove the metal end.Cut off the last 3/4" of the cable housing, not the cable!Heat the metal end up again and push it back on.Not the easiest for a DIY.But I've seen shops charge $250 for it and it shouldn't take too long.Stop at a upholstery shop or dealer for the new upholstery clips.
