Car Alarms: Remote Start, ford motor company, keyless entry system

I have a 2004 F150 that had a remote start & keyless entry system instaled. I was not given the packaging and don't have the instructions. That part sucks. Only ID on the control box is a Ford Motor Company sticker.

The problem that I have just experienced is that the remote does not start the vehicle. The receiver does get a signal from the remote, the horn beeps (2) times when it beeped (1) time before, and the accesories are turned on in the truck. I do not get or hear any response from the starter. Any thoughts...?

Well, I can't tell what you have there from
the box cover, but try this:
Hit the lock button 3 times and wait, if
it engages the starter, cool. there is the
answer, and aftermaket "slave" remote starter.

However, if not, then only Ford will have the
manual that will explain your system.

Best I can offer on what I have to go by
without inspection- identification of
the system you have.
