Car Alarms: Cant turn off factory alarm, side kick panel, easy prey

It is a factory alarm... The horn goes off the lights flash the whole 9... i had to disconnect the horns... but thats pretty much it. factory alarm... horn and lights going crazy on me....

I just bought a 1995 Cadillac Deville. I don't have the keyless entry control for the car. After i locked the car using the power locks, i unlocked the car from outside using the key and the factory alarm goes off. Now it goes off every time i open a door. How can i stop this and/or how can i disconnect the factory alarm.... Thanks you...

Please tell me what you are experiencing.
I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Many veriables. More imput please.

Headlights flashing, car horn honking?
Or, is it flashing parking lights, and
a siren going off?

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action.

Answer
Ok then you will need to disable
the factory system since it arms when you lock
and it will only disarm when you either
unlock by using a remote, or put the key
in the drivers door, turn all the way left to
disarm the factory alarm, then right to unlock the door.

If you can not do this, then either 1. locate
the factory alarm disarm wire, a light green wire,
in either passenger or drivers side
kick panel, splice into it, then put it
to ground to the chassis.

This eliminates it entirely, but leave the car
wide open & easy prey to be stolen.

So if doing this method, have an aftermarket
keyless entry/car alarm ready to install to
pick up the job of protection the factory alarm
was doing.
