Car Alarms: viper alarm reset, valet mode, negative terminal

My viper alarm stopped working.how do i reset it?

I would try just disconnecting the negative terminal of the vehicle battery for a minute or two and then reconnect it.  If this does not repair it, take a look under the dash and find the fuses that supply the brain of the system.  Check to see if any of these fuses are blown, if one is, try to determine what caused it to blow then replace the fuse.  If none are, then pull the fuses, wait a minute and return the fuses.  

If your L.E.D. is lit solid the system is in Valet mode, turn your ignition to on and flip the valet switch to take it out of Valet mode.
