Car Alarms: Programming Commando FM-870, programming modes, ryan bill

Question
I purchased the Commando FM-870.  I installed it
myself.

I have it plugged it now, but cant seem to get it into the different
programming modes?  for example, when I try to program Alarm Feature
"I", here's what happens....

1)  Turn ignition ON/OFF 3 times, leave in OFF position.
2)  Press valet switch twice and hold.
3)  Instead of hearing one chirp and one long chirp, it EXITS after 15
seconds with 3 long chirps?

First I thought maybe the valet switch was the problem, but if I
switch the ignition ON/OFF 3 times, leave in OFF position, and DONT
press the valet switch at all, it doesnt even do the EXIT 3 long
chirps.  This makes me think that since it only 'EXITS' if I press the
valet, that the switch is at least plugged in and working?
I've tried all kinds of combinations....ON/OFF 3 times, leave in ON
position.  press valet 4 times, 6times, 1 time......always the same
result, 3 long EXIT chirps.

I called Commando directly, and they said I should try turning the ignition
ON/OFF either slower or faster.  This doesnt makes sense to me since I hear
the 3 long EXIT chirps after 15 seconds, I assume it is recognizing the
ignition pulses, just not the valet pulses?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Answer
I sent this to Commando and they still have not returned the email.
I wish I had a solid answer, but no, unfortunately
you will need to contact 1 800 780-1409 and speak
to Ryan, Bill or, Chris for the support you require
on this piece.

My appologies for the delay, but I had
nothing helpfull to offer.
