I found the purple/yellow wire behind the door panel and grounded it in every different way possible but still no luck. is there any other way? thanks
-----Answer-----
No that's what I know about that. You may be experiencing
other issues. By grounding that wire, it
should disable the factory system.

Are you sure there is not an aftermarket alarm in there?
With starter disable. Sure sounds like it.

A.

Answer
No it should not make a difference,
but I would get it to
a Dodge Chrysler mechanic to
find out why.

If the ignition key is gray, you may have an
"smart" key immobilizer there. If so, take
it in to the Dodge tech, and have them reset/
reprogram it back to the system.

I hope this helps.
