Car Alarms: Keyless Entry, nissan altima, keyless entry system

Question
I just installed a keyless entry system on a 95 model nissan altima.  It works well but about half of the time when you lock the doors, walk away and then try to open them with the remote, the factory anti-theft system locks the ignition and sounds the alarm.  I only hooked up the power and ground wire, the two lock and unlock wires, and the parking light wire.  I should not have affected the anti-theft system.  Do you know what my problem is?

Answer
Compleate the installation. There is an ignition sense wire
(switched ignition) that is required here, you missed.
There is also a question as to which wires
and where you found them for lock and unlock
that seems incorrect too, and the factory disarm
wire was not addressed either. If you don't
see to this wire, the factory alarm will go off
everytime. See relayhelp.com for disarming
factory alarms.

Again, you must finish the job to get the desired results,
as well as, find the proper wiring to begin with.
Get the wiring chart for the vehicle and finish it
up. It'll make all the difference.

Good luck with it.
