Question -
Hi, I have 2000 TOYOTA corolla CE. And I have bought wiring data from ALARMTEK. Data shows me.
<Tach Sensor RED  YEL/GRN COIL PACK TOP OF ENGINE 1 CYL>
I could not understand this.
My car does not have Tach meter. But there is tach sencor wire?

Please tell me how can I put remote starter on my 2000 corolla CE.
Thank you.
Answer -
See if this makes more sense:
Tach Signal: White or Yellow/green
AC AT DATA LINK CONNECTOR OR ECM*
Notes: *
Data Link Connector Located On Driver Strut Tower.
BLACK Wire Marked IG(-); ECM Is Located Behind
The Center Console.

But if it's possible, and you system allows for it, try
spark or tachless setting for this particular vehicle.

Answer -
For tach go to one of the ignition coils and use yellow/green, red/blue, gray, or white on top of
the engine area.

Answer
You can meter the wires which will show a voltage change when you start the car, but my suggestion is to locate
the wire, then attatch your tach sensing wire from the remote starter, and go into you tach programing. then simply try it.

If it runs smoothly, and starts up on the first try,
you found the correct wire.
