Car Alarms: 1992 viper alarm, viper car alarm, chevy blazer

Question
i own a 93 chevy blazer w/ a viper car alarm.  both of my remotes are broken.  i haven't driven this vehicle in six months and the battery is dead. everytime i try to jump start the vehicle the alarms goes off.  i need to disable the alarm....somehow.  also, the grey valet wire is not connected to anything, it is just hanging out of the wire harness. any suggestions?

Answer
Yes, drop the panel under the steering column,
locate the alarm, uplug and throw away,
it's a pain and is expensive to get new remotes.
Then find the yellow starter wire in
the ignition switch column,
remove the relay inline, connected to the alarm,
and then re-attatch the 2 ends of the starter wire.
Get a new battery, and rock n roll. You are all set.

Then I strongly suggest you get a system
you know and what it takes to control it.
Better experience overall.

FYI....
This truck is easy tooooo easy to steel if you
do not replace it! (Really)

Have a good one.
