Car Alarms: Dual switch, push button switch, toyota camry

Question
I just purchased a Toyota Camry with the Viper
alarm. I went to change the cars battery and relays started to click....
wow, siren and horn start to sound off. Well, with your instructions on this site I was able to disable it, thanks.
My question is, I have both a toggle and push
button switch on the kick-panel, what is the purpose of two switches?

My bet is the one on the kick panel is the valet/
overide switch.

The other, not so sure. Colud be anything from
a starter kill (manual) switch to fog lights from
your description. It can also have been an older alarm
and the switch was not removed upon de-installation,
reinstallation. Hard to say from here.

Question, what answer worked for you, the push type or toggle?
That would help me make a more informed choice
here.
