Car Alarms: 97 Chev, C2500 6.5TD Install Problem, transmission damage, remote starts

Question
I have installed a Ultra Start 4255 from Alarm Tech into a 97 Chev. C2500 6.5TD.  Every Thing works properly except when I have the system hooked up and I remote start the truck.  The truck starts normally and I get in the truck turn the key to run and hit the brake.  For some reason I cannot figure out the Transmission stays in the Limp mode and will not come out of first gear.  To verify that it was the Remote Start system doing it I disconnected it and started the turk normally and the Transmission shifts normally.  What could it be?

Answer
Sounds like you may have missed
one of the ignition wires that controls the tranny.
Make certain all of these are energized in remote start

IGNITION|pink               |+  |ignition harness
SECOND IGNITION|white *5    |+  |ignition harness
THIRD IGNITION|pink/white *1|+  |ignition harness
ACCESSORY|orange    |+  |ignition harness

*1 The pink/white does not exist on all models.
*5 Make sure to enable second ignition wires for remote starts to prevent possible transmission damage and the check engine light from coming on.

I think you may have missed it.
