Motorcycle Repair: 73 honda cl200, honda parts, bill silver

I picked up a  73 cl 200 and I plan to restore it, I am having a bit of a problem finding parts " gaskets ETC " are the parts on these early bikes interchangeable.
and do you have any links to parts that I can get.

Greg, you got a hold of a one year wonder, as I call them..

Basically the cosmetics are different between that and the base CB200T, otherwise, most of the hardware items like gaskets, etc are going to be interchangeable between the two models. They did have different front brakes and fork parts, as well as the obvious exhaust system and bodywork. Carburation calibrations are different between the two models, due to the different exhaust pipe systems.

While the basic configuration is somewhat based upon the previous 175cc editions, not that much is the same, from what I have heard. You do need to acquire a parts list or you can use: http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-cl200-scrambler-200-us_model1041/partslist/

Search CL200 in Ebay for shop manuals and other bits and pieces.  www.westernhillshonda.net is a good source for Honda parts (they are a dealer and work with vintage guys).
