Car Alarms: Remote start signal strength, picking up the signal, windshild

Question
I have an RSCOMBO Commando remote start/alarm in my Honda Civic.  Lately the car has not been picking up the signal very well. I have changed the battery in the remote so I know that is not the problem.  Is there something I can do to either boost the signal strength or make the the start/alam more sensitive to the signal?

Answer
Try repositioning the antenna. Make sure
the connections are solid and the antenna is at the
top of the windshield, close to the mirror.
(ANTENNA POINT DOWN TOWARDS THE BOTTOM
OF THE WINDSHILD. NOT SIDEWAYS!)

Also check along the wire for crimps, breaks,
or tears in it. This can cause severe decreases
in that equipment. Maintanance on this wire
is truely important to the performance.

If all else fails, contact
Commando Alarms and see what they can offer.

Good luck with it.
