Car Alarms: Remote Programming, keyless entry system, wifes car

I had a Commando alarm/keyless entry system installed on my wifes car.  She has lost the manual and box that the system came in and recently the battery died in her car. (I don't know the alarm model #) I replaced the battery and the car works fine but now the remotes for the system no longer get any response, (they don't unlock/disarm the system).  I know the alarm brain is still working because the valet switch functions still respond.  How do I reprogram the remotes?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

hard to say what system you have in there,
but try this. Key on, press the valet switch in 5 times,
then press the lock button on the first remote, then the lock on the second remote.
Then key off.

That should do it. if not, contact Commando at
800 780-1409  ext 200 for assistance.
