Car Stereos: INFO button on car radio inoperative, chevy trailblazer, 2005 chevy trailblazer

I just bought a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer with the original factory Bose radio in it.  It has a CD player,AM/FM/Sat, and Nav system. I can't seem to get the INFO button to work on the screen.  It shows the button on the screen but it is dim and when you push it nothing happens.  Everything else works fine.  Any ideas?

Hi Doug,

The most likely scenario is that you're just trying to use the 'info' button somewhere where it has no purpose.  Typically the info button on units like that are for things like FM with RDS for traffic updates or song/band names, etc.  If you're in a mode that doesn't use the info button, it won't achieve anything, and so the unit will disable it.
