Car Stereos: 2006 monte carlo, radio out, factory radio

I have a 2006 Monte Carlo and I was wondering how to take the factory radio out and if it was possible to hook an amp up to it.

Im sorry i dont have detailed instruccions on how to take the radio out its too hard to remember all the cars i have done but, im sure you can hook and amp up to it, if you need help on this let me know
you can buy the repair manual for your car it contains detailed instruccions on how to remove every panel on your car they have it at almost any auto parts store buy the electrical manual not the engine one.
