Car Stereos: Subwoofers not working, gauge wire, dual box

Question
I have 2 Adrenaline ADRBP-12 subwoofers in a dual box, being pushed by a Lanzar VIBE286 4000W amp. I'm running Scosche wiring, and i believe it is 4 gauge wire for ground and hot connections. I know there's power to the amp and that the amp works because it pushes a Diamond 10" that I also have. . . but no sound out of the Adrenalines. . .  I've been over every possible connection i can think of multiple times, and nothing. . . If they were blown they'd still at least be making noise, but theres nothing. Do you have any ideas what this could be caused by?

Answer
Hi Jon,

Get a multimeter and check the impedance across the circuit(s) you're connecting to the amp.  Make sure they're showing the amount of resistance the amp is capable of or higher.

If it's lower, the amp won't send any signal to the speakers in an effort to protect itself.
