Car Stereos: head unit, decks, cd player

i got all wires hooked up to the harness, got a ground spot hooked in cd player will eject only.

Hi Matthew,

It sounds to me like you might have missed connecting the 'accessory' wire.  This is the wire that tells the deck it's OK to turn on.

(Most decks will let you eject without turning it on, which is why that works, but the deck doesn't.)
