Car Stereos: 2003 f-150 wiring subs and amp to factory head unit, level converter, ford f150

Justin, I was wondering what I would need to hook up subs and amp to a 2003 Ford F150 factory head unit. I have all wiring that was hooked up to a aftermarket cd player before.

Hi Cody,

You'll need either an amp with a high level input, or a high to low level output converter.

Plus a regular amp install kit: RCAs, wire, etc.

You'll also need some wire (if you don't use a high to low level converter) to hook up to your accessory to tell the amplifier to turn on.
