Answer
Hi David,

This is a very common problem with a very simple fix.  The adapter harness you used in your Durango has a blue wire.  Naturally, you connected this to the blue wire in your Panasonic deck harness.  This is incorrect.  The blue wire in the adapter harness must be connected to the blue/white wire from the head unit.  This is a factory amp activation wire, and by connecting it to the solid blue (power antenna) wire from the new head unit, you're only activating the amp when the tuner is selected.

This happens all the time in Chrysler vehicles, because for some reason all the after-market harness manufacturers use a blue wire instead of blue/white for the Infinity amplifier turn-on wire.

Hope this helps!

Brian
