Car Stereos: Choosing a new car deck, car deck, best buy

I'm looking to buy a new car deck for a 1998 Lexus L300. I'd like it to include at least an i-pod hook-up and a cd player. However, according to Best Buy's website (and a few others), it seems that very little is compatible with this car. Is there a way around this or is there a product that you can recommend for this car? Thank you for your help.

Sorry about the long wait in answering your question.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure about the model of your car; I'm not familiar with a Lexus L300.  Could you have meant an ES300?  

My guess is that you can find a mounting kit that would allow you to install any standard CD head unit into your Lexus, but I'd need  you to clarify the vehicle model to say for certain.  If you still need help with your question, please submit a follow-up and I'll try to assist.
