Question
When first started audio cuts in and out several times then stops altogether. Talked with one repair tech who said needed a new amp. Have purchased and installed new Bose amp. Now audio from front right only, but it doesn't cut out. Dealer told me these systems require programming. If correct, how? Other thoughts? Many thanks!

Answer
Ed,  I am happy to hear the amp solved some of the problem.  The other problem that is pretty previlent in these year of GM suvs is the radio itself getting shorts in it.  The connector in the rear of the radio gets bumped around being in an suv, and it causes the connector to loosen itself from the circuit board inside.  It is repairable, but requires the radio to be removed and taken apart to fix.  Then, the radio may need to be reprogrammed after reinstallation.  Hope this helps, Scott
