Question

Answer
Hi Stewart,

I've seen a lot of Chrysler vehicles with a dealer-installed, FM-modulated CD changer.  If yours has a separate wired control unit with its own display and control buttons, this it is of this type.  You'd listen to the CD player by tuning in a particular radio frequency; usually it's in the 87-89 range.

If you have a CD playing, but you can't find the CD audio signal by scanning through the FM radio stations, then the FM modulator may have failed.  Unfortunately, this is most likely a proprietary unit, so it might be hard to find a replacement.  A Chrysler dealer may be able to help you. Personally, I think I'd consider purchasing an after-market AM/FM CD player to put in place of the factory radio; it's quite easy to do on this truck.

Hope this helps!
