Car Stereos: Chevrolet truck radio, ford radio, gm vehicle

I have a stock radio in my 2003 Silverado and I'd like to replace it. I have another radio to put in it but it's out of a Ford. The service number on the replacement unit is YHNB103209. Would this unit be compatible with my Chevrolet's wiring?

You can put a Ford radio in a GM vehicle, but they do not make an adapter wiring harness to make the change, so you would have to make your own wiring harness adapter, or direct wire the wires that need to be connected.  I would not recommend doing it, but it can be done.  Good Luck, Scott
