hey i was instaling a  cd player in my94 lincon town car and could not find a wire harness for the 8 pin plug soicut it ( the day i did that i found a harness go figure) anyways i need to no what color goes to what

Hi Dominic,

The wires in the gray plug just carry the audio signals to the factory amp.  You can connect these wires directly to your new head unit's speaker wires.  If you're not bypassing the factory amp, you'll need to be sure to activate the amp by connecting the amp remote wire.  The remote wire is dark blue at one end of the gray plug (not the gray cable).  This should be connected to the blue/white wire from your new head unit.  

Here are the wire colors in the amp cable:

left front (+)  light green
left front (-)  white/orange
right front (+) white/red
right front (-) brown
left rear (+)   light blue/black
left rear (-)   yellow
right rear (+)  pink/white
right rear (-)  light blue
