Car Stereos: Infiniti I30 bose stereo, fuse block, 1998 infiniti i30

I have a 1998 Infiniti I30 with a factory Bose stereo system. Suddenly the volume cannot be turned down and it is blaring at top volume.  The volume knob turns normally and doesn't appear to be broken. Help?

Patty, The volume knob is apparently malfunctioning.  To stop the blaring radio, you should be able to pull the "Radio" fuse from the fuse block to keep the radio from coming on.  Then, you would need to remove the radio and have it repaired in an electronic repair shop.  Hope this helps, Scott
