Hi Stephanie,

In a Sony deck, the Bus Audio input is used with Sony CD changers or other Sony add-on devices.  If you added a CD changer or HD radio tuner, for example, it would come with a control cable that plugs into the changer control port, and a set of RCA cables that plug into the Bus Audio jacks.  

Some Sony head units have a feature that allow you to use the Bus Audio inputs as an auxiliary input.  Your owner's manual can tell you if your head unit has this feature.  If not, you might still be able to use Bus Audio as an auxiliary input with a special adapter.
