Car Stereos: CD & NAVIGATION WONT WORK, stereo shop, best bet

I HAVE A 2005 DURANGO ITS HAS A SYSTEM THAT CONSISTS OF CD,RADIO AND NAVIGATION. WHEN I TURN ON THE CARE THE DODGE SYMBOL COMES UP AND THE RADIO COMES ON AND THE NAVIGATION BUT IT ONLY STAYS ON FOR MINUTES THEN THE SCREEN GOES BLACK. IS IT REPAIRABLE OR DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE SYSTEM,

The problem you're having could be any number of things.  Unfortunately, I can only guess.

Your best bet is to have it checked out at a local stereo shop.  Don't take it to your dealer; they'll just tell you to replace it without doing any real work.

A local stereo shop will charge way less per hour to diagnose, and will tell you the truth if it is repairable or not.
