Car Stereos: Fabric Stereo Silverado LTZ08, chevrolet cheyenne, power antenna

Recently I install a amplifier to my Chevrolet Cheyenne(Silverado) 08 LTZ 4X4, the problem is that can´t turn off my amp when I turn off my fabric stereo, can you tell me where its the remote cable of the stereo so they will turn off at the same time.

Ill already have the amp remote connected to the door yellow cable so when I open it,door, the amp turn off.

Hi Eli,

If by fabric you mean factory stereo, it is unlikely to have a remote wire.  Your best bet will be to tap into either the accessory, or power antenna wire if there is one (and check to make sure that it doesn't turn off when you go from AM/FM to CD.)

Your best bet may be to add some aftermarket hardware to make it work as you would like.
