Hey !

I've had to replace my car batatery (a couple of times - don't ask) and now when I turn on the radio the message comes up "ENTER CODE".   Where might I find this code, or what is it ?

Hi Brian,

Many vehicle manufacturers build some sort of anti-theft system into their factory radio units.  The most common type is a code system:  when the power is disconnected from the radio, it won't operate unless you enter a special code (usually with the preset buttons).  Your owner's manual should tell you the procedure for entering the code; but the code itself would have been provided to the original owner.  You might be able to find it with the original vehicle documents, if you still have them.  Otherwise you'll have to contact a local dealer for assistance.
