Car Stereos: no sound, car sterio, sony xplode

I have put in the sony xplode car sterio, and antenna. I can not hear anything at all. Can't  play cd.s or listen to tadio, but full power to the cd player itself. I am in need of help. I remember blowing fuse in car llghter recenty, could that be the problem

Greg,  If the radio is lighting up, but not playing music, it is probably an internal issue with the radio.  To be sure, it is best to recheck all connections and be sure everything is wired correctly and securely.  After doing that, it should work.  If it doesn't, then something is probably wrong with the radio.  You can pull it out and take it to your local stereo shop.  They can test it for you.  Hope this helps, Scott
