Car Stereos: Ford Compatibility Question, compatibility question, stock radio

I have a '99 Ford Explorer with everything stock.  My stereo stopped working and i think it shorted out during a heavy rain. Anyway, I'm in the market for a new head unit and i have no idea what size unit will fit in my car.  I'm looking at the Dual XHD6430.  Will this unit fit and if so what adapter will i need?  heres a link to the manual: http://www.dualav.com/support/manuals/xhd6430.pdf

Justin,  That radio is a standard DIN size, and it will fit in almost any application.  To check for certain about fitment into your car, I would suggest going to crutchfield.com and enter your year, make and model, and they will tell you what models will fit, and they will let you know what extras you will need to replace your stock radio.  Hope this helps, Scott
