Answer
Hi Justin,

Can you tell me how you have the IECAULOC connected?  Ideally, you'd want to connect the LOC's speaker inputs (the white, white/black, gray, and gray/black wires) to the factory rear speaker wires.  These can be found behind the factory radio, or at the speakers in the trunk.  If your Impala is equipped with the factory Bose system, you'll need to make your connections in the trunk.  Also, the IECAULOC has two additional brown wires; these should not be connected to anything at all.

The Impala will not have a remote wire connection that will do you any good.  Your best option is to tap the remote connection into a fuse or power wire that's controlled by the key switch.  You can use the thick brown wire in the key switch harness; or look for a key-switched fuse in the fuse box on the end of the driver's dash.  I'll often tap a wire to terminal 87 at the RAP relay, located in the driver's side fuse box.  Wherever you connect the remote wire, I'd install a 1-amp fuse on the wire near your connection point.  This should help prevent a problem with the remote wire from affecting any vehicle circuits.

Hope this helps!
