Volvo: Fault Codes, light glows, o2 sensors

Question
Sorry Jimmy. It's a 99 Volvo S70.
It has about 150K miles on it.
Oh, and it's blue if that helps ;)

Question -
Just replaced Front Oxygen sensor (Fault codes pointed to it)
Within five minutes after resetting, engine light glows again with codes P0136 and P1081.
My mechanic says the first is for Rear O2Sensor, but can't find info on the second code (P1081)
Any clues?
Thanks,
Bill

Hello Bill! What year and model Volvo do you have? I would need to know so that I can help you better.

Answer
Hey Bill! Before you replace anything else, try disconnecting the battery for a few hours. Both positive and negative should be removed. For some reason, this tear and model likes to set fault codes for o2 sensors. If the light comes back on again, it is best to replace both o2 sensors and disconnect the battery again. I am not familiar with some of the generic codes. I like to use the factory specific codes. They are much more precise. Let me know what happens. Ill be here if you need me!
