Car Stereos: 2000 Cavalier stereo removal, 2000 chevy cavalier, phillips head

How do you take the face plate off of the stereo and surrounding things in the 2000 Chevy Cavalier?  It covers a lot of things so is there anything that could make it easier?

Hi Ryan,

You'll need a phillips head screwdriver.  There are a bunch of screws holding it in.  One underneath by the cupholders, one on the left behind a plastic cover over by the steering wheel, one behind the glove compartment door, etc.

It's not overly difficult, just take your time, and make sure you get all the screws.
