Car Stereos: car audio., accurate representation, impedance

Question
how do you drop omes? What is the differents in peak and watts.

Answer
Hi Justin,

I don't know what you mean about dropping ohms.  Every device provides a certain number of impedance in ohms, and putting them in parallel will generally bring the ohms down due to ohm's law.

The difference between peak and RMS is that peak is a meaningless number made up by marketing weenies.  RMS is all you should care about.  It's a more reasonable, accurate representation of how much power the speakers are actually capable of.
