Car Stereos: Anti-Theft System Code, acura tl, 2003 acura tl

Question
I have a 2003 Acura TL 3.2 Type-S(I'm not the first owner) and the other day i had to disconnect the battery. I was unaware that my stereo system had an anti-theft system that required a 5 digit code to unlock the stereo so i could actually listen to it. (The 5 digit code was set by the previous owner and i have no idea who that was because i bought the car through a dealrship.)Is there any possible way i can reset the code so i can listen to my stereo?

Answer
Hi William,

I'm sorry, but if you don't have the original code, a Honda dealer will need to assist you with this one. Usually the code is printed on a card that's included with the vehicle's owner's manual, so if you still have the manual for this vehicle, you might want to leaf through it and see if the previous owner left the card (or maybe jotted down the number).  Otherwise, a dealer is really the only recourse.

Good luck!
