Hi! I can't find an exact replacement for the above model stereo for my truck. I found (on eBay) a similar model. If I
can get it to fit okay, how much latitude does one have connecting up with the existing speakers? How exact does
it all have to be? Any printed material existing from
SONY themselves? Thanks for your help.  Meyer

Armin,  You can buy most any aftermarket radio, and it should be easy to fit.  There are only three main sizes of radios: DIN, Double DIN, and CG.  If you buy one that is the same looking size as yours, it should fit fine.  The wiring will have to be redone behind the radio to use the new radio's plug.  This rewiring is fairly simple with provided instructions from the radio manufacturer and the wire harness adapter that is already installed.  Hope this helps, Scott
