Car Stereos: car wont start, wont kick, radio harness

i disconnected my radio yesterday and before i put the new one in i tried to start the car but she wont kick . it winds over but thats it . ive checked all my fuses, they are all fine . im not getting a spark  but i cant work out why . the radio should have nothing to do with the car starting i assume . its a 93 model ford .can u please help it would be very much appreciated . thanx   benni . Sorry for this late response to your question.  I suspect you've got your problem figured out by now.

I agree that there's nothing in the factory radio or radio harness that should have any effect on your vehicle's ignition system.  Even if you'd shorted and blown both the factory power supply fuses for the radio, your truck should still start and run without a problem. Most commonly, starting problems after doing work on the radio are just caused by a low battery; a result of leaving the doors open for too long.  Otherwise, I'd suspect that your truck's ignition problems are unrelated to the radio removal.
