i bought a wiring harness from walmart wired up my stereo and the stereo wont turn on when i turn the car on. its an 06 chev equinox

Hi Bryan,

The issue you're having would simply be a case of either a connection not having been made properly, or a crossed wire somewhere.

Another possibility is that a power line touched the chassis or a ground wire during install and popped the circuit.

First and foremost, make sure the 12V accessory, and 12V constant are connected correctly, as well as the ground.

If they are, check the radio fuse; you may have popped it in the process of the install.
