Car Stereos: RCAs, rca output, rca input

Question
Yes i was also wondering on my amplifiers i have both RCA input and also have RCA output is it going to hurt anything if i run one set of RCAs from the cd player to one of the amplifier and then run another set out of RCAs out of the RCA output on that amplifier to the other amplifier or would it be best if i split it behind the cd player and run two seperate RCAs?

Answer
No, it will not hurt anything to hook them up that way.  You may want to double check the amplifiers RCA outs are not affected by the amplifier settings.  Usually, they are not, and it is easiest to just daisy chain them as you have described.  I would not recommend a splitter cable at all.  If there does need to be some other means of creating another set of RCAs, I would recommend an active crossover to supply the extra RCA outs.  Hope this helps, Scott
