Car Stereos: cd player, rockford fosgate amp, chevy silverado

i just put two rockford fosgate shallow mount 12's in my truck, which is a 1991 chevy silverado single cab.  they are hooked to a 1000 wat rockford fosgate amp.  they worked fine for but it drained my battery.  we fixed the battery problem but now my cd player will only play radio stations.  when my change it to a cd it says ERROR--AO.  Do you know what couldve happened or a solution?

A0 is a Pioneer error for 'electrical or mechanical failure'.

It's kind of vague, isn't it?

Disconnect the deck entirely, wait 20 minutes, and reconnect it.  If it continues to fail, you're likely looking at repair/replace.
