Car Stereos: no bass in my stero, ford explorer eddie bauer, explorer eddie bauer

i just recently bought a 1997 ford explorer eddie bauer edition and i had to replace a fuse in order to get the radio to work. It came with the ford jbl sound system package but the only problem is that there is not really any bass with this package. i was wondering if this is normal or if there is something that i can do to repair this situation...thank you in advance

Hi Michael,

A lack of bass is mostly a personal thing -- those systems have OK bass, but nothing special.  If it's lost all of its punch entirely, then perhaps something has gone awry.

To upgrade it, you can add an amplifier and subwoofer.
