im trying to put a pioneer flip out screen in my girlfriends 2004 pontiac grand am. i bought and put in the exxess interface gmos-04. when fully connected it automaticaly makes the screen kick on and does not shut off ever, i also have no sound. i used the rca wires so i dont know where the problem could lay.

Hi Troy,

When you say does not shut off ever, you mean the power button doesn't work, or it continues to run even when the keys are out of the car?

As for the sound, first test the actual speaker leads on the deck and ensure its outputting sound before you start moving down the chain towards the amps and whatever you've plugged the RCAs into.
