Auto Racing: building a 96 350 sbc for drag racing, holley carb, rearend

Matt i have a 86 s-10 blazer i put a 96 center boilt 350 sbc stock with a 600 sv holley carb rpm intake and a t-350 transwith a stock converter took it to the track (1/8 mile) it ran a 10.06 i got pos traction 373 rearend and slicks the blazer is gutted what else can i do with out nos on it to make more hp out of it THANK YOU

I would look at replacing the cam with a performance one. Try the Edelbrock cam that is matched for the intake. Also add headers,re-curve the dist and fine tune the jetting.
