Auto Racing: Honda, honda civic dx, suzuki grand vitara

Hi, I wanted to start getting into racing and eventually drag racing with my 93' Honda civic dx and I was wondering where should i start for upgrades and parts to buy.

The BEST thing you can do is save your money for a turbo kit. A freind of mine has a 99 1.6L SOHC (D16)that he is using an XS Power turbo kit on and the car is honestly a monster. There is also tuning software available for free online for Honda applications you would only need a laptop to use it. My freinds current setup produces just under 400HP and he is using....

DSM 440CC injectors
Suzuki Grand Vitara pistons (They fit in and are lower compression)
XS Power T4 Turbo Kit. (A T3 would be better for you)
Walbro 255 fuel pump.
And a ported stock intake manifold.
