Auto Racing: Shell eco-marathon.com uk, rockingham motor speedway, eco marathon

Hi Matt, I'm a design technology teacher at a school in Sandbach, Cheshire, England. We have just won this years schools Shell Eco-marathon achieving 2250.5 mpg at the Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby - not bad!
I used a Honda GX31 4 stroke engine ~ 1.5hp, 340g/kWh fuel consumption, ~3kg weight etc. I'm looking for an even more efficient engine - do you have any ideas, contacts etc I could chase up.

Hello David , thanks for the question but im afraid fuel economy and small engines such as the ones your using are not really a subject im too familiar with so i cant answer your question.

But its nice to hear your striving to go one better even though you have already won the Eco marathon !!!
